Eden and Isaac sit down on the sofa, holding hands. EDEN: "I warned you about this." ISAAC: "I know." He hesitates, then speaks again. ISAAC: "Do you really believe this energy exchange thing will save you?" EDEN: "I have to believe it or fear may make me fall apart." They tighten their hands. Isaac smiles to lighten the atmosphere. ISAAC: "Well, I've already got your energy all over me, what's one more special dose?" Eden laughs, then his laughs fade as tears fill his eyes and he sobs.
