ISAAC: "Yeah. I understand. I'm just happy to have you back, no matter what happens." Eden averts his eyes solemnly, trying to keep a casual tone. EDEN: "So-- What, you haven't... found anyone new yet...?" Isaac pouts, like Eden just said the dumbest thing he's ever heard. ISAAC: "Ugh, Eden, please. I suspected something was up for a long time. Besides..." He removes one of the two rings he was wearing on his left hand: Their two engagement rings, Isaac's with a blue crystal, and Eden's on his pinky with a yellow one. He holds it out to Eden, who balks in shock. ISAAC: "Your mum gave this back to me at the funeral. The topaz was missing, so I had it replaced."
