Well, if you read Elehiya then this isn't a reveal to you. I mean of course his face isn't anything shocking, hes just a Guy, but its more important to me in that its a significant turn in his character development and I care him. I care you, Ora. Azrael takes the glass bottle into his hands. He stares at it, hesitating, the lifts his mask off of his face for the first time in over 300 years. He looks the same as he did the day he died: like a sad, tired, 20-something year old Ukrainian man with a wide crescent scar marring the side of his face next to his right eye. He might have looked completely normal if not for the white hair and piercing, catlike blue eyes. He watches Akiva, and the viewer, with a nervous expression, the veil behind him covered in bright red spots.
